Congratulations to the winners of the 2009 Science & Engineering Fair held at Heald College in Concord.
Patrick Maguire (left) and Thomas Houser (right), both of DeLaSalle High School, were our two Senior Grand Prize winners for 2009. Patrick's project was titled "Photodegradation of the Antimicrobial Triclosan in Aqueous Solution." Thomas's project was titled "Using Wasted Heat Energy of a Car with Thermoelectric Modules." Both boys went on to the International Intel Science and Engineering Fair. Thomas won $1,000 from the National Collegiate Inventors & Innovators Alliance.
