Awards
The Contra Costa Science & Engineering Fair will honor all students for their participation in the Fair in a number of ways.
Modest monetary awards may be granted to Grand Award winners by the Science & Engineering Fair itself.
In addition, student participants will receive ribbons and certificates depending upon their placement at the Fair. Prizes are not guaranteed. Awards may be granted based upon the merits of the individual/team projects.

Grades 9-12 Overall (Senior Category)
Grades 7-8 Overall (Junior Category)

Special Awards:
Individual companies and organizations in the region will honor students for their Science Fair projects. These awards may be given for specific project categories or in general for project excellence. Each granting organization will specify the parameters of the special award.

Special Awards
In 2012, 38 awards including $4350 cash and other awards from 22 organizations were given out at the Saturday Awards Ceremony. This year we expect even more.
